At 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009 the Israeli Magistrate Court will look into the case of the twenty eight families of Sheikh Jarrah. The Magistrate Court will look into new evidence proving Palestinian ownership of the land where the twenty eight homes are situated. The new evidence proving Palestinian ownership should revoke previous court decisions against the twenty eight families and affirm their right to their property. This evidence strikes a blow in face of Jewish Settlers organizations’ plans to illegally appropriate the land and build 250 Jewish settlement units in place of the 28 Palestinian homes.
